Parish Mission Statement |

We,
the Roman Catholic parish community of Our Mother of Good Counsel,
recognize our call to grow in
relationship
of love and service toward God, the human family, and all creation.
The
life and mission of Jesus Christ give meaning to all that we are and all
that we do. As a community of believers, we:

worship
God by fostering full, active, conscious participation of all
parishioners in the liturgical life of the Church and in personal
prayer;

practice stewardship as a way of life that calls us to
share our time, talent, and treasure for the common good of our
parish, Church, society and world;
|
|
recognize that we are Christ’s disciples, called to
reach out to all persons by proclaiming the gospel
in word and action; providing opportunities for
deepening the faith of all members; and welcoming
those who seek membership in the Church;

|
foster the twin virtues of justice and charity. Justice
calls us into right relationship with God, one another and the
earth. Charity calls us to respond in love
to the needs of others.
