Altar Servers

are called upon to assist the presider at liturgy.
Altar Society:
Members in the altar society take care of the altar linens and albs.
Bereavement Ministry:
This group prepares the Church for the wake and Mass of Christian Burial.
They remain at the Church during the funeral services to offer assistance.
Eucharistic Ministers:
These men and women assist in the distribution of Holy Communion in the
Parish Church, in the homes of parishioners and at Bryn Mawr Hospital.
This is a three year commitment.
Gardening Angels:
A group of men and women of all ages who take care of the outside of the
church.
Lectors:
Parishioners who proclaim the Word of God on a regularly scheduled basis
at Mass.
Ministers of Hospitality:
These ministers greet all those who attend the various liturgical
functions.
Ministers of the Liturgy
of the Word For Children:
During the 5:00 p.m. Mass on Saturday and the 9:30 and 11:15 a.m. Masses
on Sunday, children ages 6-12 are asked to join an adult minister in the
daily chapel before the liturgy of the Word. The readings for the
day are then presented to the children at their level of understanding.
This is accomplished through song, storytelling and drama. At the
conclusion of the Liturgy of the Word, children return to the assembly for
the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
Ushers:
Parishioners who welcome the community, assist with seating and direct the
flow of the congregation during Eucharist.
